Encouraging more people to work in forestry

Promote employment opportunities in the sector at regional secondary schools, including:

• Information packs and resources for schools
• Attend school career expos
• Meet with science teachers at selected schools
• Support work experience
• Field days to expose children to the full spectrum of employment opportunities.
• Support the development of a machine operator training programme.
